I have climbed Mount Kinabalu 4095.2m (8.7km to Low's peak)
6th Jan 2014 Depart from KL to KK. Flight took about 2.30hr. reached there about 12.55pm. had lunch then took the rented van to Kinabalu Park (journey about 2 hours, it's all the hilly roads. Rented van to accommodate 15 of us is 600 including return to KK city. it's included in the package..). The base was quite chill. We were quite lucky in a sense that all the hostel were full and we're given nicer lodge kinda thing to sleep with the price of the hostel. There's a whole bunch of students from HKU gonna trek KK with us tomorrow. Buffet dinner was good (or maybe im just too hungry). The food are all ok. Lodge was also ok to sleep. Everything's in ok condition. 7th Jan 2014 Breakfast buffet *drools*..too bad couldn't eat much as I cant hike with a full stomach. I chose the Timpohon route.
